The Kozler Story

Zac Kohler founded Kozler as a result of his parents' entrepreneurial spirit. Zac's parents were hardworking small business entrepreneurs who seldom took days off, all for the sake of their shared dream of one day purchasing and retiring on a cattle station.

After more than ten years of nonstop labour, this desire was realised by acquiring Sutherland Station, a property near Collinsville, QLD.

But it wasn't to last; shortly after they realised their goal, Zac's mother, Kym Kohler, tragically lost her fight with cancer, and things were never the same again. The sale of their dream property at Sutherland Station was a heartbreaking but necessary decision.

Seeing his parents' years of hardship, sacrifice, and worry in order to realise their ambition. Then, just as they saw the light at the end of the tunnel, it was all snatched away.

Despite having to go through the anguish that his family endured, this gave Zac a strong drive to learn everything he could about business so he could assist others in accomplishing their business goals.

The Inspiration

After his mother died, he took over the family businesses, navigating through financial troubles and the collapse of their local economy. To say he was utterly new to business and leadership would be an understatement.

So he began contacting marketing specialists, business advisors, and so-called growth gurus. All told him that their remedy would fix his issues. But the results he was promised month after month never materialised.

The fact is that these experts didn't have malicious motives; they just felt that their speciality was the solution to all of Zac's business struggles. The harsh fact is that his company had major strategic challenges, yet all of the experts were providing tactics, and no amount of tactics could address the strategic problem.

Dealing with several of these firms was excruciatingly frustrating. That is the second reason Kozler was created: to be the business Zac was seeking for when he was attempting to expand.

Not simply an agency, but a real growth partner who works throughout an organisation as if it were their own. Finding the missing elements and roadblocks to progress while exploring for new ways to scale.
